“Tuor and the Swans”

Artist Commentary: Under the guidance of two Elves sent there by Ulmo, Gelmir and Arminas, Tuor passed through the ancient Gate of the Noldor (Sindarin Annon-in-Gelydh) into Nevrast, where he is said to have been the first Man to come to the shore of the Great Sea, Belegaer the shoreless. Thence he was led by a flock of swans, and came at last to the old dwellings of Turgon at Vinyamar.
