Fantastical Beasts & Beings: A Wizard’s Calendar 2015

2015_Calendar_promotion_image_1500

“Fantastical Beasts & Beings: A Wizard’s Calendar 2015

printed, with hole for hanging, 8.5″x11″ wide.

This is my first ever “Fantastical Beasts & Beings” calendar. Within, you’ll find full colour painting images from my Middle-earth, Narnia, and Fairy Tale-inspired galleries, as well as sketches of the beasts and beings depicted each month. Ranging from dragons, to mermaids, to naiads, to dryads to demons, unicorns, wizards, elves, and halflings, each month depicts a different magical clan or creature.

You can watch the calendar teaser trailer here.

This calendar marks moon phases, solstices and equinoxes, and international holidays. It also includes, for each month, a quote about the peoples or creatures so depicted, from authors including Shakespeare, T.S. Eliot, J.R.R. Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, Gerard Manley Hopkins, and many more. The back cover of the calendar also includes a previously unpublished short story “teaser” for a series of tales to come. This vignette is unnamed, but the series will be called “The Framerunners”, and more details will soon become available regarding this series at www.TheFramerunners.com.

All calendars are signed by the artist. Please include text with your order if you’d like your calendar to be personalized (e.g., “To Arwen”). To order yours, click on the image, above, or click here.

Hi Jef! Saw a FB post and was reminded that I needed to order your 2015 calendar! One comment: I did not see any option for ordering multiple copies. Ordering took my straight to PayPal where the number of calendars was “1” only. I simply ordered two (one for Megan, too!) Best to you, Phil
