Jef — subject matter is dramatic in this scene, but what really struck me is how the forest just seems to come alive, interact with the light, and have a character of its own. You are a master at trees! I remember your Christmas Ent, and chuckle everytime.
This is amazing! I especially love the way you use the lighting to draw attention to the centaur, but also to give a certain warmth to the background… It makes me want to go outside and take a nice hike through the forest- truly beautiful
